Common Table Church — Grace, Life, Mission

Galena, Ohio

Sundays at 5:00

First floor of The Galena Commons, the brick building on the corner at 70 N Walnut Street. We stop at 6:15, so you're home by 6:30 if you want to be.

Grace

You don't have to have your life sorted out before you walk in. That has never been the entry fee, and it isn't here.

Life

Scripture read plainly, and an honest conversation about what it asks of an ordinary week.

Mission

A church that belongs to its town. We share a building with our neighbors on purpose.

Common Table is a small church. Small room, small crowd, one table.

That isn't an apology. It's most of the point.

No band, no program, no membership process to work through. If you've been away from church a long time, or you've never done this at all, nobody will ask you to explain yourself at the door.

How a month goes

Four Sundays, four different things

We eat every week. Usually finger food, whatever people bring to share. Come hungry and bring something if you can; come hungry and bring nothing if you can't.

When

Sunday evenings
5:00 – 6:15 PM

Every week, year round. Most of us stand around talking well past 6:15, and plenty of folks with kids head straight out. Both are fine.

Parking

The large lot just north of the building. It's ours — park anywhere in it.
